Well, if you're an OG of this blog, you should remember my Surface.

It was a good little machine: Iris Graphics, a 2.7K display, a detachable keyboard and a compact touch screen. You could slide it in most bags. I loved it so much I bought the Surface Pen for it.

Enough "what's good about a Surface, then?" nonsense, and let's get into the real story.

A few weeks ago, I plugged my Surface into the charger using a dodgy adapter which had a surge and that surge MUST HAVE FRIED MY BATTERY!!!

So I've remembered THREE THINGS to do, and you should too:

• Number one: Always use a surge protector with it, or use a trusty plug.
• Number two: Get my Surface repaired.
• Number three: Don't trust every plug. These tips must have helped you.

I'm deciding to use an M3 MacBook Air (as seen on the front page) for my new laptop. It's lean, fast and great for coding. This is the end of this blog post, wanted to just give y'all a quick one XD

Welcome to the first official blog post for Horizon7000! I've been working really hard on getting this site up and running, and I'm super excited to finally share it.

The main goal for Horizon7000 is to create a cool place where I can showcase my projects, share updates, and host downloads for things like Smoogle. I decided to go with a classic 2010s Windows 7 Aero look using 7.css because it gives the whole site a awesome retro feel without needing any heavy graphics or GPU acceleration.

Here is what I'm currently working on and what you can expect to see soon:

• Smoogle Updates: Links for downloads and new news regarding the project.
• KidTown News: Even though KidTown is staying on Google Sites, I'll still be posting updates and announcements about it right here!
• New Features: Tweaking the design, adding more blog posts, and polishing up all the pages.

KidTown is now available for download on H7's official website right here! 1.4 is currently in action. 1.5 will be hosted on Google Drive as the final Drive release before using a direct download from Cloudflare R2.
